Driver’s License Tests
Before you take or book your driver’s license road test in Manitoba, you need to become a client of Manitoba Public Insurance (MPI). You can do this at your local Brio Insurance office with the help of some personal documents:
- Valid Canadian passport, Manitoba Health card, and bank statement OR
- Canadian birth certificate, Manitoba Health card, and guarantor form
Keep in mind, you can’t send anyone on your behalf to become an MPI client, and, if you are under 18 years old, you will need to have a parent or guardian with you.
Signing up for your driver’s license road test in Manitoba
The next step in getting your driver’s license is to pass both a written test and road test. While our client service representatives can’t help you prepare for these tests, they can help you schedule them at any of our branches.
When you’re ready to sign up as a MPI client and book your written or road test, stop by one of our offices in Steinbach, Winnipeg, or Beausejour, and we’ll help you schedule a date.
