Positive COVID-19 case at La Broquerie branch

We would like to share that one of our Brio Insurance La Broquerie branch employees has tested positive for COVID-19. Our thoughts are with the staff member and we wish them the very best for a quick recovery. We ask that if you choose to leave a comment on any of our social channels, please be respectful of our co-worker and their privacy.

Upon learning of the positive diagnosis on Tuesday, August 24, our La Broquerie branch closed immediately and will undergo a deep cleaning and sanitization overnight. We plan to open again on Wednesday, August 25, but will await guidance from Public Health. We are diligently following guidelines and protocols for sanitizing the branch, and all those who had direct contact with the affected employee will be contacted by public health officials for further guidance regarding self-isolation.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause; however, our other branches, including those in Beausejour and Steinbach, are able to help by phone, email, or in-branch.

In addition to the increased safety precautions we have already implemented, including plexiglass shields, enhanced cleaning, mandatory masks for both staff and clients, and physical distancing, we will continue to follow the updates from Public Health and adjust as needed to ensure we’re doing all we can to protect the health of our staff and clients.
