We support both large organizations and many grassroots community organizations each year. Here are just a few doing great work in our communities.

Doing good beyond the workplace.

We have many team members making a personal impact in our communities. Fridays at Brio Insurance are known as “Jeans for Charity Day”. The program runs from January to December of each year. Team members wishing to participate enroll in the program and make a weekly donation toward one of the pre-selected charities. We’ll then match a percentage of the contributions.  These are just some of our current and past recipients 🡪

Application Criteria

Areas of Interest

Eligible projects that further the strategic goals of community investment for Brio Insurance include, but are not limited to, activities in any of the following fields of interest:

  • Community Events
  • Arts and Culture
  • Education
  • Environment
  • Health and Welfare
  • Sports and Recreation

Project Consideration

In awarding investment, particular consideration is given to innovative projects which engage in one or more of the following activities:

  • Contributing to strengthening the community, especially by encouraging the participation of diverse groups and individuals
  • Building effective partnerships within the community

Funding Restriction

As an organization, we are restricted from providing funding towards the following:

  • Organizational operations funding
  • Deficit reduction
  • Retroactive funding

No donations are permitted to individuals, political parties, advocacy groups, public relations firms, activists, lobbyists, or organizations previously convicted of fraud, involved in illegal activities, or have questionable financial management.

If you think your organization, program, or event would be a good fit for us, please review the above criteria before requesting support.

Please note that as our team strives to respond to requests in a timely manner, we encourage 3-4 weeks notice to ensure we have the appropriate time to review and respond to requests. Deadline for requests is December 1 of each year.
